M. Sc. Ömer Üstündag

Dr.-Ing. Ömer Üstündağ is a co-founder and Head of Applications at WeldNova GmbH, a Berlin-based deep-tech start-up and spin-off from the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). Prior to this, he spent over seven years as a research associate at BAM and at the Fraunhofer Institute IPK, where his research focused on laser beam and laser hybrid welding of thick-walled metallic materials and contactless electromagnetic weld pool support.
