In the last fifteen years, metal-inert gas (MIG) brazing has become established as an alternative to the welding of thin sheets because it is gentle on the materials. Areas of application are automobile bodymaking, container construction, the manufacture of pole sleeves for solenoid valves as well as ventilation and air conditioning technology. Furthermore, it is possible to find a whole host of other niche applications in which the benefits of this process come to bear.
