M. Sc. Emily Schmidt, born 1988 in Hanover, Germany, studied Mechanical Engineering until 2018 at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hanover, specializing in Automation Technology and Manufacturing Process. Since 2018 she has been working as a research assistant in the field of welding and cutting technology at the Institut für Werkstoffkunde (Materials Science) in Hanover, Germany. Her research activities focus on underwater welding technology and thermal cutting methods.
