Dr. Hubertus Siebald


Hubertus Siebald was born in Eschwege, Germany, in 1968. He earned a degree in physics from the University of Göttingen, Germany, in 1995, specializing in vibration physics and acoustics. In 2016, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Kassel, Witzenhausen, Germany. From 1995 to 1998, he worked in the Adaptronics Department of DLR (German Aerospace Center). From 1998 to 2012, he worked in an engineering company where he was involved in the analysis of vibration systems in various fields of industrial application. The focus of his work was on the development and implementation of mechatronic and adaptive systems. During this time, he led a variety of industrial projects. Since 2012, he has been a research associate in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at the Department of Ecological Agricultural Sciences at the University of Kassel. His area of expertise is condition monitoring in agricultural engineering. Mr. Siebald is author of several conference papers and co-inventor of a number of patents. His main research interest is vibration and acoustic monitoring in agricultural applications.
