Dr. Tatiana L. Talako

Tatiana Talako is currently Leading Researcher of Department of machine building materials of State Scientific Institution Powder Metallurgy Institute, Minsk, Belarus. She graduated from the Byelorussian Polytechnic Institute (1988), Minsk, and received her PhD in Technical Sciences (1997) at Powder Metallurgy Institute. Dr. Talako's research interests include materials science of advanced multifunctional powders and thermal spray coatings from them, processing materials using high-energy mechanical treatment and self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. She has coauthored about 25 scientific refereed journal papers, 2 books/chapters, and 9 patents.
