Dr.-Ing. Carsten Weil

Carsten Weil was born in Herborn, Germany, in 1973. He received the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering in 1998 and 2002, respectively, both from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. In 2003 he joined the AFT Advanced Ferrite Technology GmbH in Backnang, Germany. Since 2005 Weil is with the AFT microwave GmbH as head of R&D. His research activities focus on ferrite microwave components, such as circulators, phase shifters, fast ferrite tuners, and absorbers.
