Dr. rer. nat. Ulrich Holländer
Dr. rer. nat. Ulrich Holländer, born in 1965, studied chemistry at the Technical University of Dortmund. His doctorate in physical chemistry, also completed in Dortmund in 1997, focused on the investigation of the thermodynamic properties of liquid sodium-antimony alloys. He then initially worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Materials Technology at the Technical University of Dortmund and has headed the “Brazing and Thermal Process Technology” specialist group in the IW-FORTIS division of the Institute of Materials Science (IW) at Leibniz Universität Hannover since 2001. His research activities focus on the development of braze materials and thermal processes for flux-free and high-temperature brazing.
