Dr.-Ing. Simon Olschok

Dr.-Ing. Simon Olschok studied Mechanical Engineering, specialising in production technology, at RWTH Aachen University, Germany from 1996 to 2002. From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Welding and Joining Technology (ISF) in the field of laser beam welding. Since then, he has been working as a senior engineer at ISF in the field of beam processes. In 2008, he completed his doctorate on the topic of laser-MSG hybrid welding of steel in the thick sheet area.
